RFID Labels & Tags

The Converting Group has a comprehensive program for getting converters into the RFID business. We provide methodology for everything from end-user solutions; to trade suppliers; and ultimately guiding clients on how to manufacture encode and convert RFID labels & tags themselves

The Opportunities & Our Proven Methodology

If you're one of the skeptics of RFID becoming an essential offering - it might be in your best interest to take a second look.

Major box retailers & logistics companies are currently making the shift to RFID product operations. UPS has recently announced their full commitment. This will eliminate the use case for manual bar-code scanning company-wide & significantly improve their efficiency over time. How do we know this? not just from news, we played a significant role in setting up their RFID supplier.

The opportunity lies in the obvious - when one major company makes a shift most competitors will have to follow. In fact, Amazon has a full sunrise 2027 plan for standardizing thier vendor offerings over the next 3 years, as highlighted at the GS1 summit in 2026. A sea of business is starting to open up and we have the accounts that need converters to take on overflow work.

The catch? RFID insertion is not as simple as die cutting labels. Companies can experience up to 30-40% waste in the early trial & error period when purchasing equipment with no plan, as we've seen first-hand. This is why we have created a program to get converters into the RFID space without getting burned. We call it the "Crawl, Walk Run" method. We proudly partner with Free Hand Engineering to provide a solution to any RFID needs.

Crawl

We educate you applications, use cases, and how to sell RFID to your clients - including integration solutions.

Walk

Once you're ready to sell we'll introduce you to basic insertion and supply pre-programmed tags. During this phase we begin the manufacturing training necessary to convert effiecently.

Run

After understanding the basics - We prepare you for the entire manufacturing process including programming, insertion & converting. This will include how to manufacture with minimal to waste, providing the right machinery, & promoting your business as a supplier to those who don't want to take the leap.
